Career Objective: Vegan cooking Instructor

I am applying for a vegan cooking instructor position. I chose a not too conservative outfit for the job interview. I will wear a black simple dress and a light color cardigan. I will accessorize with a white scarf, black high-heeled shoes, and a white- hemstitched black bag. I think this outfit is the most appropriate for the job interview for a cooking instructor because it shows that I am warm, friendly, sociable, mature enough, but not too obstinate individual.

I am really interested in careers in healthy living especially eating. I've been trying the macrobiotics diet for four years, and my health condition has really improved. That's why I'm considering being a dietitian, and would like to help people with their health.

San Clemente and Encinitas

I go to school Monday through Thursday, and every Friday through Sunday is my free time.

My husband and I went to San Clemente pier to have lunch last Friday. San Clemente is about 30 minutes drive up from Carlsbad. I heard that San Clemente used to have the Summer White House. Anyway, there is a seafood restaurant on the pier, and we sometimes go there to have clam chowder. Even though, I usually am a vegan, when I go there I always have fisherman's chowder which is their speciality, vegetable and tomato based fish soup. My husband always has clam chowder in a sourdough loaf. We like the restaurant because they have outside tables and you can enjoy meals with a breeze and sunshine right by the water. And it's not that expensive.

After we came back from San Clemento, we rode our bikes for excercise all the way from Carlsbad to Encinitas. We started the ride from Carlsbad Village Drive and rode south on Coast Highway 101. About 1 hour after we left, we found a small vegetarian coffee shop called Mozy Cefe. We stopped there and ordered organic fresh juice which contained beets, celory, carrot, apple etc..., and was good. I'll make it at home next time.

After taking a little rest at Mozy cafe, we rode back to Carlsbad which took us another hour to complete. We enjoyed the biking! It's a nice season to be outside. Also, excercise is always very good for getting rid of stress!

Where I am from

This is a huge statue of Buddha call DAIBUTSU in my favarite city, Kamakura, Japan. Kamakura is an ancient capital, one hour away from Tokyo. There are always a lot of tourists and busy, because there are many old temples and shrines, art galaries, nice restaurants, bakeries and cafes . Kamakura has both an old and new taste and a uniqe atmosphere. If you have a chance to visit Japan, I would recommend that you to go to Kamakura. I love Kamakura!
